Pair of Top 10 Finishes with Outlaws in Volunteer State

Chase Junghans followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night to kick off the doubleheader in the Volunteer state. In a field of 33 cars, Chase followed up the second fastest lap in his time trial group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Josh Richards. The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Tennessee Tipoff, Junghans notched a second-place finish in his heat behind Darrell Lanigan, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the finale. With $12,000 on the line, Chase fell three positions in the 60-lap affair to place ninth.
