Junghans tackles Wieland Winternationals at Ocala Speedway

Chase Junghans made a midweek appearance at Ocala Speedway last week, with Tuesday’s Wieland Winternationals event marking his first start of the season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Junghans was unable to transfer out of his B-Main on Tuesday and Wednesday, but Thursday proved to be his strongest showing. He posted the ninth-fastest time in his group before finishing seventh in his heat race, sending him to the consolation event. With only the top three advancing, Junghans fell just short, recording a fifth-place finish.

Following Friday’s rainout, Junghans did not compete in Saturday’s finale.
